From Piedmont, Italy, this Barbaresco comes from a tiny estate with vineyards in the townships of Curra and Marcareno (scattered vineyards as the name refers to a blend of two different terrains inside of Nieve). Small production, this wine has a classic bouquet of exotic spices, dried flowers, red cherry liquor. Fermented in cement, this is a very clean, pure style. Delicious tart red berry fruit on the tongue with an array of spices. Tingly minerality through the finish, with pretty floral notes and some tannins.
