On Wednesday, March 18, from 6-7 PM, join us for our first ever Caviar & Bubbly Event!
Caviar and bubbly (especially Champagne) are a classic pairing, where the crisp acidity and effervescence of the wine perfectly cut through the rich, salty, and oily profile of the caviar pearls. The bubbles act as a palate cleanser, while the dry, mineral-forward, or citrusy notes of the Champagne highlight the delicate flavor of the caviar.
Sommelier Annabel Butler of Oxford Wine Merchants will be pouring 3 different bubbles (all from woman winemakers) that will pair with three different types of caviar presented by David Young of the Caviar Co. Each participant will enjoy three 3 oz pours of the 3 bubblies along with 1.5 oz of caviar (1/2 oz of three different ones).
